The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SFC Cooper Konkul Hall, RA13034751, who died in the service of his country on February 5th, 1951 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Cooper was 31 years of age. He was from Pulaski, Virginia. Cooper's Military Occupation Specialty was 2745-Light Weapons Infantry Leader.

The decorations earned by SFC Cooper Konkul Hall include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Silver Star, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.


Sergeant First Class Hall was a member of the 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on September 6, 1950 and returned to duty on September 28, 1950. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on February 5, 1951. Sergeant First Class Hall was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Combat Infantrymans Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
