The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC James John Hauser Jr., 33320622, who died in the service of his country on May 10th, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death James was 31 years of age. He was from Bristol, Pennsylvania.

The decorations earned by PFC James John Hauser Jr. include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


James served as a Private First Class in the 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Bucks County, Pennsylvania prior to the war. He enlisted in the Army on July 1, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was noted as being employed in construction and also as Single, without dependents.

He had family residing at 33 Hancock, Rochester, Monroe County, New York during the war.
