The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PVT Marvin Ormond Smith, who died in the service of his country on October 13th, 1942 in Unknown. The cause of death was listed as Pneumonia. At the time of his death Marvin was 29 years of age. He was from Jamison, Oregon.

The decorations earned by PVT Marvin Ormond Smith include: the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.
