The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Andrew Minarish, 36886188, who died in the service of his country on May 19th, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Andrew was 29 years of age. He was from Spangler, Pennsylvania.

The decorations earned by PFC Andrew Minarish include: the Combat Medical Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Prior to entering service on 6 July 1944, Andrew worked for Packard Motor Company and was living in Detroit, MI.
