The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, CPL Clarence Cleon Woodman, who died in the service of his country on February 1st, 1952 in Korea. The cause of death was listed as Training Accident. At the time of his death Clarence was 19 years of age. He was from Gohio, New Hampshire.

The decorations earned by CPL Clarence Cleon Woodman include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.


Corporal Woodman was a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. On February 1, 1952, he was killed by a short mortar round during a training exercise. Corporal Woodman was awarded the Combat Infantrymans Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
