The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PVT Thomas S. Doyle, 16062421, who died in the service of his country on January 11th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Thomas was 21 years of age. He was from Wayne County, Michigan.

The decorations earned by PVT Thomas S. Doyle include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Thomas worked as a machine shop worker in civilian life. He was single.

Thomas is listed on The Tablets of The Missing at Manila Cemetery.

Thomas was a member of the 1st Platoon, 1st Squad of Fox Co.
