The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Robert Dale Boicourt, 37471845, who died in the service of his country on April 30th, 1945 in Luzon, The Philippines. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Robert was 21 years of age. He was from Omaha, Nebraska.

The decorations earned by PFC Robert Dale Boicourt include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

Pfc. Robert Boicourt,20, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.M.Boicourt, 3635 South Twenty-third Street, was killed in action on Luzon April 30, according to War Department word received by his parents.

Private Boicourt, a graduate of South High School, entered the service in February,1943 and had been overseas one year. Prior to enlistment, Robert worked at Armour Packing Company. Other survivors: brothers Kenneth, Omaha; and PhM2c Alfred, Camp LeJune, NC; sisters Hazel Boicourt and Mrs. Jack Davis, both of Omaha.
