The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PVT Louie Mabrey McKnight, 44042314, who died in the service of his country on June 1st, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as DOI. At the time of his death Louie was 19 years of age. He was from Hohenwald, Tennessee.

The decorations earned by PVT Louie Mabrey McKnight include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Louie entered the service 24 October 1944.
