The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PVT Pedro Campoy Osorio, 39599568, who died in the service of his country on May 8th, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as DOW. At the time of his death Pedro was 29 years of age. He was from San Diego County, California.

The decorations earned by PVT Pedro Campoy Osorio include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


PVT Osorio is buried in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego CA. Location: SECTION H SITE 288.

Pedro was a married and citizen of Mexico. Prior to entering the service on 11 September 1944, he worked for the Santa Fe Railway.
