The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PVT Leo Edward Osborne, 36909874, who died in the service of his country on May 8th, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Leo was 18 years of age. He was from Bureau, Illinois.

The decorations earned by PVT Leo Edward Osborne include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Leo worked for Chicago Bridge Iron Company prior to entering service on 8 August 1944.
