The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Odell Raymond Webb, 38072150, who died in the service of his country on September 4th, 1943 in Vella Lavella-Boko Mission AO. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Odell was 23 years of age. He was from Taylor County County, Texas.

The decorations earned by PFC Odell Raymond Webb include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Enlisted February 10, 1942 at Fort Bliss, Texas. Killed in action on the Solomon Islands. Son of William McDaniel Webb and Nannie Bell Johnson.
