The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Booker Tee McCoy Jr., who died in the service of his country on July 7th, 1966 in Pleiku Province, Vietnam. The cause of death was listed as Burns. At the time of his death Booker was 22 years of age. He was from Orlando, Florida. Booker is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Panel 09E, Line 5.

The decorations earned by PFC Booker Tee McCoy Jr. include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Unit Citation.


Booker died of his injuries on 07/07/1966 in the Army hopsital at San Antonio. He was wounded 07/03/1966.

Booker is buried in the Orlovista,Orlando FL Cemetery

Booker was married to Etta L McCoy, 907 West Bentley St,Orlando, FL Etta supplied us his picture.
