The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SP4 Milton Bernard Luster, who died in the service of his country on September 13th, 1966 in Pleiku Province, Vietnam. The cause of death was listed as Mis-directed 155mm Artillery. At the time of his death Milton was 19 years of age. He was from Gray Court, South Carolina. Milton is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Panel 10E, Line 92.

The decorations earned by SP4 Milton Bernard Luster include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Unit Citation.


Milton was a member of the Weapons Plt and was respected by all platoon members.

Buried in the Forksville Baptist Church Cemetery in Greenville County, SC.
