The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Ralph Edward Moore, who died in the service of his country on May 3rd, 1967 in Quang Ngai Province, Vietnam. The cause of death was listed as Booby Trap. At the time of his death Ralph was 20 years of age. He was from Indianapolis, Indiana. Ralph is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Panel 19E, Line 29.
On May 3, 1967, Ralph was serving as the pointman on a fire team on a search and destroy mission in Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam. As he crossed a hedgerow, members of his unit were knocked down by the blast of what was believed to be an exploding mine.
