The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, 1LT John Martin Nelson, O-0057263, who died in the service of his country on August 9th, 1950 in South Korea. First Lieutenant Nelson was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantrymans Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal.
