The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, CPL Pete Garcia Magallanez, RA19239883, who died in the service of his country on April 25th, 1951 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as MIA to KIA. At the time of his death Pete was 22 years of age. He was from Los Angeles County, California. Pete's Military Occupation Specialty was 4795-Tank Crewman.

The decorations earned by CPL Pete Garcia Magallanez include: the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.


Pete was also wounded in September 1950. He enlisted 4 January 1950.

Buried in All Souls Cemetery, Long Beach, CA.
