The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC David William Krebs, RA17270381, who died in the service of his country on September 20th, 1951 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as Seriously WIA by missile Died of wounds (FECOM). At the time of his death David was 19 years of age. He was from Larimer County, Colorado. David's Military Occupation Specialty was 4745-Light Weapons Infantryman.
Private First Class Krebs was a member of the 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on May 20, 1951 and died of those wounds on September 20, 1951. Private First Class Krebs was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Silver Star, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
