The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Floyd R. Rosette, US56053401, who died in the service of his country on March 17th, 1952 in North Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Floyd was 23 years of age. He was from Grand Junction, Colorado. Floyd's Military Occupation Specialty was 3666-Medical Aidman.
Private First Class Rosette was a medic with Love Company, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while tending his wounded comrades in North Korea on March 17, 1952. Private First Class Rosette was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Medical Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
