The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PV2 Florencio Arias, RA18353708, who died in the service of his country on February 10th, 1951 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Florencio was 21 years of age. He was from Bexar County, Texas. Florencio's Military Occupation Specialty was 666-Company Aidman.

The decorations earned by PV2 Florencio Arias include: the Combat Medical Badge, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.


Private Arias was a medic with the Medical Company, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while tending his wounded comrades in South Korea on February 10, 1951. Private Arias was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Medical Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal.
