The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PV2 James Allen Mc Cool, US53013630, who died in the service of his country on May 25th, 1951 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death James was 22 years of age. He was from McComb, Mississippi. James' Military Occupation Specialty was 4745-Light Weapons Infantryman.

On the day that James McCool was killed in action another soldier by the name of James Crotty and my self tried to get McCool to a safe area when he was wounded.
