The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC George William Hall, who died in the service of his country on April 24th, 1951 in Korea. The cause of death was listed as MIA to Declared Dead. At the time of his death George was 22 years of age. He was from Knoxville, Tennessee.
Private First Class Hall was a member of Company F, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in Korea on April 24, 1951. He was presumed dead on March 1, 1954. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. Private First Class Hall was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
