The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SP4 Robert Bruce Hunter, who died in the service of his country on February 23rd, 1969 in Darlac, Vietnam. The cause of death was listed as Small Arms/AW. At the time of his death Robert was 23 years of age. He was from Belmont, New York.

The decorations earned by SP4 Robert Bruce Hunter include: the Combat Medical Badge, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Unit Citation.

Robert was wounded 02/23/1969, died 11/17/02, and was added the The Wall in May 2004.

Robert is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Belmont, NY.
