The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Harold Eugene Bergquist, who died in the service of his country on April 12th, 1952 in Korea. The cause of death was listed as Other Causes. At the time of his death Harold was 22 years of age. He was from Topeka, Kansas.

The decorations earned by PFC Harold Eugene Bergquist include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.


Private First Class Bergquist was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He died of other causes on April 12, 1952 near Sanjon, Korea. Private First Class Bergquist was awarded the Combat Infantrymans Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Republic of Korea War Service Medal
