The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, 1SG Marvin David Harding, 06274355, who died in the service of his country on July 12th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Marvin was 24 years of age. He was from Scotts Bluff, Nebraska.

The decorations earned by 1SG Marvin David Harding include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.
