The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Rendolph Ryba, who died in the service of his country on August 20th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as Died Non-Battle. At the time of his death Rendolph was 26 years of age. He was from Lankin, North Dakota.

The decorations earned by PFC Rendolph Ryba include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.
