The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SGT Homer G. Heuston, 06949916, who died in the service of his country on January 12th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as MIA/KIA. He was from Pennsylvania.

The decorations earned by SGT Homer G. Heuston include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Homer has a grave marker in the Manila American Cemetery but is listed under "Service Personnel not Recovered Following WWII"
