The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PVT William Patrick Lydon, 36732527, who died in the service of his country on July 28th, 1944 in Caldonia/New Zealand. The cause of death was listed as Unknown. At the time of his death William was 22 years of age. He was from Illinois.

The decorations earned by PVT William Patrick Lydon include: the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


William is buried in the Punchbowl in Honolulu
