The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SGT Stanley H. Marchand, 06553309, who died in the service of his country on January 14th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Stanley was 31 years of age. He was from California.

The decorations earned by SGT Stanley H. Marchand include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

Stanley was single. He is buried in the Puchbowl in Honolulu.
