The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SGT Harry Clarence Carlson, who died in the service of his country on May 27th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as Died, Non-Battle. At the time of his death Harry was 29 years of age. He was from Omaha, Nebraska.

The decorations earned by SGT Harry Clarence Carlson include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.
