The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Joseph Anthony Delloso, 33154242, who died in the service of his country on July 13th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Joseph was 33 years of age. He was from Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

The decorations earned by PFC Joseph Anthony Delloso include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Joseph worked as a fireman in civilian life. He is buried in the Punchbowl in Honolulu.
