The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Bennie Frayland Draper, 37135799, who died in the service of his country on June 23rd, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as Truck Accident. At the time of his death Bennie was 26 years of age. He was from Caruthersville, Missouri.

The decorations earned by PFC Bennie Frayland Draper include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

Per 3/35 Operation Log, Bennie was killed when an engineers deuce and a half truck overturned.
