The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SSG Milton R. Erickson, 16020955, who died in the service of his country on May 15th, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Milton was 22 years of age. He was from Amery, Wisconsin.

The decorations earned by SSG Milton R. Erickson include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Milton was a farm hand in civilian life. He was single and entered the service 1 October 1940.

He is buried in the Manila American Cemetery
