The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC John Homer Bowen, who died in the service of his country on March 2nd, 1945 in Luzon, The Philippines. The cause of death was listed as KIA, DOW. At the time of his death John was 29 years of age. He was from Tennessee.

The decorations earned by PFC John Homer Bowen include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

John was a metal worker in civilian life.

He was in the 1st Platoon, 2nd Squad of Fox Co.
