The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, Lorin Aden Bundy, who died in the service of his country on January 20th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Lorin was 37 years of age. He was from Paoli, Indiana.

The decorations earned by Lorin Aden Bundy include: the Combat Medical Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

Regimental Medical Detachment. A Jan 22, 1943 Regimental Journal says that his body was found that date after being listed as MIA for 2 days
