The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Joseph Ronald Pearce, 34665238, who died in the service of his country on April 27th, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Joseph was 24 years of age. He was from Zebulon, North Carolina.

The decorations earned by PFC Joseph Ronald Pearce include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Joseph enlisted at Ft. Bragg on 01/29/1943. He was a truck driver and was not married. Joseph was swarded an initial PH about 12 weeks before his death,
