The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, CPL Charles E. Bell, who died in the service of his country on December 26th, 1942 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as Non-Battle. At the time of his death Charles was 24 years of age. He was from Rensselaer County, New York.

The decorations earned by CPL Charles E. Bell include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.
