The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PVT Lloyd L. Hanson, who died in the service of his country on May 20th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as Enemy Bombing Raid. At the time of his death Lloyd was 31 years of age. He was from Roseau, Minnesota.

The decorations earned by PVT Lloyd L. Hanson include: the Combat Medical Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.
