The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SP5 Tyrone Wright, who died in the service of his country on November 9th, 1967 in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. The cause of death was listed as Small Arms/AW. At the time of his death Tyrone was 21 years of age. He was from Compton, California. Tyrone is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Panel 29E, Line 64.

The decorations earned by SP5 Tyrone Wright include: the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Unit Citation.


Buried in the Graceland Park Cemetery/ 4723 S. 42nd St./ Omaha, NE. Omaha is located in far east central NE. Take Exit 451 (S. 42nd St). Go south on S. 42nd St for about 1 mile to cemetery at 4723 S. 42nd St.
