Description: A/7/17 Cav reported their Guns were called to help a company in heavy contact. The Guns were given credit for 5 NVA KIAs in this action. The 4th Inf Div Operation MACARTHUR report states the Recon Platoon, 2/35th Inf was patrolling 20 kms NNW of Ban Me Thuot when they discovered and pursued approximately 35 NVA. Near the scene of contact, an A/7/17th Cav helicopter discovered 15 NVA in a bunker complex and killed 5 NVA <br>
