Summary: Log opened at 0001 hours 1 June 1969. Unit locations: At LZ Oasis grid ZA117277; Battalion Headquarters (Forward), 1/35th Command Post is at LZ Oasis ZA117277; A Company at ZA069433; B Company at ZA012241; C Company at ZA104371; D Company at ZA982285; Recon platoon is located at ZA085354; 4.2" mortar platoon located at ZA982285; Headquarters and Headquarters Company Support (S-4 Forward) at LZ Oasis; At Base Camp (Camp Enari); Battalion Headquarters (Rear).

1120 hours (C) A Co to TOC: First PZ at 0943 hours, first LZ at 0951 hours, last PZ at 1120 hours, last LZ at 1127 hours.

1510 hours (C) From D Co to Toc: Convoy received one round of AK-47 fire at ZA083312. No damage or casualties, direction unknown.

1540 hours (C) From B Co to TOC: Request a Dust-Off, an E7 who came out with the resupply bird fell off the bird and threw his back out of shape. We need a stretcher. Our resupply bird is coming to the Oasis to pick up stretcher and pick him up.

1710 hours (C) From C Co to TOC: 97 element at ZA110355 found 1 GI stretcher (good shape), 1 green fatigue pants (ARVN), US type claymore, Ball of hammock string. 100 meters west of this location found 2 holes 3 x 3 no overhead cover and estimated to be 2 to 3 days old.

1715 hours (C) From B Co to TOC: 97Y at ZA004243 found a well camouflaged rice hooch 4 x 5 x 5. Had several woven mats to close the entrance and had a GI poncho and OD heavy duty tarp-covering top. Inside found approximately 300 lbs. of unhusked rice. Some in sandbags, the rest was in a separate bin. Also a pair of 8 W boots GI type. Estimate it all to be recently built but no sins of any recent activity in the area.
