0040 hours (C) S-3 to all elements: All elements no matter how small or what their mission must maintain adequate security at all times. Failure to do so today resulted in 9 men of an 11-man patrol being wounded today. Passed to C, D, and Recon.

0820 hours (C) Thanh An to TOC & S-2: The Trung We people at A Dap Anang found 3 mines in the road grid ZA020310. 2 were claymore type and one was anti-tank.

1131 hours (U) DELAYED ENTRY - ON 15 June 69 at 0940 hours from A Co to TOC: Our 57 element at ZA062384 found: 8 caves, 1 warm campfire, 2 AK-47 magazines, 1 NVA and one US type ammo pouch, 1 tooth brush.

0940 hours (C) From 97 element at ZA058380 found 8 bunkers with 2 man positions, estimate to be 1 year old.

1200 hours (C) TOC to Bde: Request A/O extension time 151300 to 202400 hours to search and clear. Participating unit B 1/35th. Duration of 5 days in A/O 0428 to 0424 to 0924 to 0928.

2215 hours (C) (Confidential) From C6 4th Inf Div dated 151930 June 1969. There are indications that enemy may be preparing for an increase in activity or high point during the next few days (15-17 June), this activity could be similar to the recent high point noted in the MR-6 area (Iam Dong Province) on 5 June and in the B-3 front MR-5 area 8 to 9 June. Reliable agent reports that an offense would start 15 June. In Phu Yen Province agent reports that the new 10th NVA Reft would engage in offensive attacks on Tuy Hoa during 9-20 June. 2. Recent enemy activities have been characterized by an increase in stand-offs and terrorism against lightly defended hamlets, PSDF Forces and refugee centers.
