Summary: Log opened at 0001 hours 18 June 1969. Unit locations: At LZ Oasis grid ZA117277; Battalion Headquarters (Forward), 1/35th Command Post is at LZ Oasis ZA117277; A Company at ZA094397; B Company at ZA048267; C Company at ZA087298; D Company at ZA982285; Recon platoon is located at ZA127392; 4.2" mortar platoon located at ZA982285; Headquarters and Headquarters Company Support (S-4 Forward) at LZ Oasis; At Base Camp (Camp Enari); Battalion Headquarters (Rear).

0225 hours (C) D Co to TOC: 33(-) spotted lights along the blue line about 500 meters due east of their N/L, they are going to set up an ambush, they asked for DT to be cleared at 990289 in case they need it.

0940 hours (C) From B Co: The grave at grid ZA049267 found earlier contained 1 NVA soldier with a green fatigue uniform, short haircut. His head was bandaged, he was missing one foot. 97 element has moved back to yesterday's LZ ZA049272 and they have an element out to their south checking out the bunkers found yesterday.

1040 hours (C) B Co to TOC: 331 found at grid ZA052262 5 holes in side of streambed, 1 fire in hole and 1 beside stream approximately 2-weeks old. Also a trail east to southwest.

1506 hours (C) From B Co: 33 vicinity ZA046267 spotted 2 NVA soldiers, taking them under fire.

1525 hours (C) From B Co's 33 element is maneuvering south down a trail using fire and manpower. One friendly wounded in head by M-79 shrapnel, very minor, employing redleg vicinity ZA046267.

1602 hours (C) From B Co: The 33 pursued the NVA, which were 3 in number, 200 meters south to an open field. One fled southwest, one southeast, and one south. They found 1 sandal. Two were wearing sandals and one barefooted. 33 moved back to the LZ. Line no. 111 was the friendly wounded by a friendly M-79 in upper head, not serious, he did not have a steel pot on.
