0957 hours (C) B Co 1/35th 21 at present location found bunker complex, 12 bunkers 4 x 3 x 5' deep, 3' overhead cover of logs and dirt, new camouflage with green leaves on floor of bunkers, last use 1 week. Maze of trails entering the complex, found one bunker inside - 2 M16 magazines, 1 tube toothpaste, canal running west, 3 to 4 meters from complex.

1022 hours (C) B Co 1/35th 49 at ZA108534 found 1 APC carcass partly hit by B40, also 1 wheel and axle from another APC, found 29 M16 magazines, M79 which had been fired in the area, 3 months old. 49 at ZA103539 found 2 canals 3' wide, 2' deep 25 meters apart south to north.

1250 hours (C) B Co 1/35th - 232 sweep at ZA103599 found a location of 2 canals previously reported, 7 tunnels dug into the side of canals, 2 1/2 to 4' in diameter, entrances to tunnels, entrances have 3 to 4' overhead cover and run 4' back into side of canals. One tunnel leading off 12' from canal. They found one empty 82mm can, 6" diameter, 8" high, well used trail to north leading from the area, last use one week, the area believed to be used for hiding, not shelter. Also found straight sapling poles, one on each side of entrances to tunnels and one on each side of the end of tunnels, 6 feet long and in the ground 2', intervals 30 to 40 meters apart - seem to be some type of marking, additional readout will follow. We are digging tunnels up.

1415 hours (C) B Co to TOC: B Co reports spotting 4 dinks at grid ZA100534. Point man saw dinks running about 75 meters from his location. They had rucksacks; Co fired M16, M60 and M79.
