On May 6, 1970 after 3 days at Camp Radcliff the 2/35th convoyed to FSB Meradith located at coordinates YA916277 (actually to a staging area outside the wire). After digging in and spending the night here the various companies were CA\'d into Cambodia on May 7 to begin their Cambodian campaign.
