FSB Powder. At 0930 a dud 4.2 mortar round was detonated. Three men were injured by shrapnel as a result of the explosion.

The medical evacuation request states that Reinhart of B Co. was hit in the head, chest and neck. He was in respiratory distress and unconscious. Smith(?) of commo was injured in the left chest and shoulder. Goldstein of B Co. suffered an arm injury. Reinhart was removed by litter; the latter two were ambulatory.
