Donald Richardson (Boggie) was my dearest and closest friend. On the day he was killed, I carried him a short distance and tried to help him stop the bleeding. He died in my arms, November 25,1950. I will carry his memory to my grave. God bless the family who had such a wonderful son. We were side by side from August of 1950 until his death. I escaped the Chinese trap along with 15 other men from Company B 35th Infantry. On the 25th of January 1951 I was critically wounded the second time and was removed from the Korean War.
