The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PVT Arthur Stolar, who died in the service of his country on July 23rd, 1951 in Korea. The cause of death was listed as Meningitis. At the time of his death Arthur was 23 years of age. He was from Brooklyn, New York.

The decorations earned by PVT Arthur Stolar include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.


Private Stolar was a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He contracted meningitis and was evacuated to the 8055th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital where he died on July 23, 1951. Private Stolar was awarded the Combat Infantrymans Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
