The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, CPL Earl Kenneth Westfall, who died in the service of his country on October 23rd, 1950 in Korea. The cause of death was listed as Other Causes (Non Hostile). At the time of his death Earl was 20 years of age. He was from Dawes, West Virginia.

The decorations earned by CPL Earl Kenneth Westfall include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.


Corporal Westfall was a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He died of other causes on October 23, 1950 at Yusong, Korea. Corporal Westfall was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
