The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Emmitt M. Ford, who died in the service of his country on October 30th, 1950 in North Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA-DOW. At the time of his death Emmitt was 18 years of age. He was from Tulare, California.

The decorations earned by PFC Emmitt M. Ford include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.


BURIAL LOCATION:TULARE CEMETERY, TULARE, CA

Comments: Private First Class Ford was a member of the 35th Infantry Regimental Combat Team. He was seriously wounded while fighting the enemy in Korea on October 29, 1950 and died of those wounds the following day.
