The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Richard Joseph Reising, who died in the service of his country on January 17th, 1946 in Occupation Duty Japan. The cause of death was listed as Smallpox. At the time of his death Richard was 19 years of age. He was from Poseyville, Indiana.

The decorations earned by PFC Richard Joseph Reising include: the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

Richard worked for Sunbeam Electric prior to the service and Enlisted/Drafted approximately 25 Sept 1944
